Martin Dacre is a senior member of the Edge Legal team with a long history of legal work in the music and entertainment industries and a strong background in audio-visual rights.

Previously Head of Legal Affairs at Eagle Rock Entertainment, Dacre helped that company achieve its position as the UK’s top independent music TV and DVD company and was responsible for every legal aspect of a company releasing around 60 new DVD titles per year. When Dacre joined Edge Legal in early 2009 it reunited him with Edge Group founder David Glick and director Michael Eaton with whom he first first worked at noted music industry law practice Eatons in the 1980s. Dacre became Director of Legal and Business Affairs at BMG Records in 1987 before rejoining Eatons in 1991 where he stayed through its merger with Mishcon de Reya until becoming Director of Legal & Business Affairs at Eagle Rock in 2004.
